The Regency CI-2700 is a large hybrid wood-burning fireplace insert built to do what an open masonry fireplace cannot: hold heat in your home instead of sending it up the chimney. It slides into your existing fireplace and, with Regency’s Eco-Boost hybrid technology, burns each load of wood in two stages for longer, steadier, cleaner fires. A 249 square inch window keeps the fire front and center, while output of up to 78,000 BTU is enough to warm a large living space through a New England winter. The CI-2700 vents through a stainless steel liner run up your existing chimney, and that chimney should be inspected, and repaired if needed, before installation. Will the CI-2700 fit my fireplace?
The CI-2700 needs a minimum fireplace opening of about 29 inches wide, 21-3/4 inches high, and 19 inches deep. We measure your fireplace before you buy so you know it fits, and we can recommend an alternative if it does not.
